Full Biography

Capitol Records R&B/Hip-Hop singer Houston's first single, "I Like That," from his upcoming debut album, It's Already Written, is exploding at the urban format. Having broken into the Top 40 on the Mainstream Urban Chart and the Top 20 on the Rhythm Chart just three weeks after its release is a remarkable feat, but it's easy to see why. The track, crossing the threshold of 20 Million listeners in audience just through radio, features Chingy, Nate Dogg, I-20 and production by St. Louis' famed Trak Starz, and is becoming a major hit across the United States through the music video medium as well. If the instantaneous reaction to Houston's "I Like That" in the media weren't enough, the track has also been picked by McDonald's as the key song in their summer Big Mac Meal Tracks advertising campaign! McDonald's is in the works of making a brand new global television commercial featuring high-tech special effects, a cameo by Justin Timberlake and Houston's "I Like That" as the music bed. Who would have thought this song would create such an uproar only 3 weeks off the shelf?? Houston, a Los Angeles-native, came up singing on street corners and at talent contests before gaining the attention of Capitol Records executives. On his inaugural first album, It's Already Written, Houston's unique style seamlessly unites R&B and Hip-Hop genres into something undoubtedly cool.
